Bormindo was acquired by Ancora Group in 2007, with goals to be able to bring the company to new heights of quality and growth and become a world class provider in drilling and work-over services. Ancora Group, as the controlling shareholder, is listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange with the stock code OKAS. As recently as 2023, the shareholders are Ancora (60% ownership) alongside various foreign financial investors (totaling of 40% shares). Currently employee more than 600 personnel alongside a vast productive capacity exceeding a total of 14 onshore rigs; Bormindo possess a solid experiences in servicing major oil & gas as well as geothermal producers in Indonesia, such as: PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia (previously PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia), PT Geo Dipa Energi, BWP Meruap, Sarulla Operations Ltd., PERTAMINA, Texcal Mahato Ltd., and VICO Indonesia.
