Job description
Oversee coal-hauling production to meet safety, quality, and output targets. Lead operators/dispatchers; plan shifts and unit assignments. Monitor tonnage, cycle time, PA/MA/UA, fuel ratio, and haul-road/work-area condition. Coordinate with HSE, Maintenance, and Procurement for quick fixes. Produce daily/weekly reports, analyze deviations, drive optimization, and enforce SOPs and discipline.
Job requirements
- 3–5+ years supervising production in coal-hauling/mining or heavy-equipment ops.
- Proven team leadership (30–100 crew), shift planning, coaching, and conflict handling.
- Strong in dispatching, load assignment, queue control, and route/road condition management.
- Mastery of KPIs: tonnage, cycle time, PA/MA/UA, fuel ratio, cost/ton, and target recovery.
- HSE/SMKP knowledge; able to lead toolbox talks, risk assessments, and incident reporting; firm stop-work authority.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Warehouse, and Procurement to cut downtime and secure parts/fuel.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; basic Power BI; CMMS & telematics/GPS (e.g., Cartrack) is a plus.
- Clear communication and report writing; strong stakeholder/client management.
- Willing to work night shifts/extended hours; fit for fieldwork.
- SIM A/B2 is an advantage.
