Since its establishment in 2021, Pijar Foundation has reached more than 120,000 beneficiaries across six Southeast Asian countries, including 30 cities and regencies in Indonesia through partnerships with over 300 national and global organizations.


Role Summary

Support the CEO in designing and developing strategic partnerships through research, analytical thinking, and high-quality strategic documents. Translate ideas into partnership strategies, concept notes, proposals, and engagement materials with clear value propositions, and implementation approaches.


Key Responsibilities

  • Landscape and Stakeholder Research. Conduct landscape analysis, stakeholder mapping, and desk research to identify partnership opportunities and ecosystem trends. Translate insights into partnership strategies, collaboration models, and value propositions tailored to prospective partners.
  • Strategic Document Development. Develop and refine concept notes, proposals, pitch decks, briefing papers, presentations, and other partnership materials. Ensure all outputs are evidence-based, well-structured, and aligned with organizational priorities and partner needs. 
  • Strategic Writing & Knowledge Development. Draft analytical documents, strategic narratives, and executive materials that communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively while maintaining logical structure and alignment with organizational strategy. 
  • Executive Partnership Support. Support the CEO in strategic engagements by preparing meeting briefs, background analyses, discussion papers, presentations, and follow-up documentation. Capture key insights and translate discussions into actionable next steps and updated partnership materials. 
  • Partnership Opportunity Management. Maintain organized records of partnership opportunities, pipeline documents, and supporting materials. Track proposal progress, document revisions, key assumptions, and milestones to ensure continuity from partnership design through implementation.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree (S2) is preferred
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in strategy, partnerships, business development, consulting, public policy, or a related analytical role
  • Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured, and actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional document development and strategic communication skills, with demonstrated experience producing persuasive, evidence-based proposals, concept notes, executive briefs, presentations, and other partnership materials
  • Exceptional attention to detail, logical reasoning, and ability to develop compelling narratives supported by evidence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance competing tasks and produce high-quality deliverables within established timelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; experience with visual presentation tools is an advantage
