Role Summary 

The Program Officer is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of end-to-end program processes, from pre-program preparation to post-program reporting. The main objective of this role is to ensure that all program activities run smoothly, professionally, and according to plan. This role reports to the Program Manager. 

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Community Building & Program Outreach. Work with the External Relations team and Program Manager to support community-building activities, awareness campaigns, and direct engagement with entrepreneurs, business partners, investors, and other relevant stakeholders. Contribute to positioning Lestari’s programs as a trusted and relevant platform within the entrepreneurship ecosystem. 
  2. Partner Coordination & Pre-Program Preparation. Support the Program Manager in preparing for new programs, including coordinating initial discussions with business partners, preparing relevant materials, documenting requirements, and following up on agreed actions. 
  3. Entrepreneur Selection & Program Design Support. Support the shortlisting and selection of entrepreneurs participating in the program. Assist in developing the program curriculum, activity plan, timeline, and other implementation materials as needed. 
  4. Program Implementation & Stakeholder Coordination. Support the day-to-day delivery of program activities by coordinating with mentors, speakers, partners, entrepreneurs, and internal teams. Manage schedules, communications, materials, documentation, and follow-up actions to ensure smooth implementation. 
  5. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting. Support post-program monitoring and evaluation of participating entrepreneurs by maintaining relevant data, collecting feedback, tracking progress, and consolidating key findings. Assist in preparing post-program reports for internal teams and business partners when required.

Job requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Management, or another relevant field. 
  2. Up to 1 year of experience in project management, event management, business development, program implementation, or a related area. Relevant internship or organisational experience may also be considered. 
  3. Strong interest in artificial intelligence, technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation. 
  4. Strong interpersonal and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from different functions and backgrounds. 
  5. Execution-oriented, detail-focused, and able to approach challenges with a practical problem-solving mindset. 
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professional proficiency in English.
