AI Technical Mentor – Public Sector Incubation Program

About Future Lestari

Future Lestari, an initiative under Pijar Foundation, focuses on accelerating digital transformation and innovation in the public sector by connecting startups, government institutions, and ecosystem partners.

Through the AI Incubation for Public Sector program, Future Lestari supports the development of practical and deployable AI solutions (Proof of Concept/PoC) to address real-world public sector challenges. The AI Technical Mentor plays a key role in ensuring that these solutions are technically sound, feasible, and ready for implementation.

1. Minimum 4 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering
2. Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
3. Proven experience in deploying AI solutions (API, backend, microservices)
4. Familiarity with containerization (Docker), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure – basic level), and data processing (SQL, basic ETL)
5. Ability to provide hands-on mentoring
6. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
7. Strong problem-solving skills in non-ideal data and system environments

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with MLOps, LLMs, or Generative AI
2. Prior involvement in public sector AI projects
3. Experience as a Technical Lead or Mentor

Compensation is based on level of engagement and experience, inclusive of tax, with transportation support provided during the 2-month program period.
