Job description
- Lead and manage the overall Finance & Accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations across the organization.
- Oversee end-to-end accounting processes, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, cash flow reports, and financial analysis for management and stakeholders.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure healthy financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Coordinate and manage tax-related activities, including monthly and annual tax reporting, audits, and liaison with external tax consultants.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.
- Develop and improve financial controls, accounting procedures, and operational processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support contract review, project financial monitoring, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis, particularly for consulting and project-based engagements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with proven exposure to end-to-end finance and accounting operations.
- Strong experience handling multiple Finance & Accounting functions, including AP, AR, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Cash Flow Management, Budgeting, Tax, Audit, and Treasury.
- Experience in consulting, professional services, technology, startup, or project-based industries is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience preparing financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of cash flow management, financial controls, and business performance monitoring.
- Experience coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring team members is a plus.
