POSITION SUMMARY

The Tax Audit Senior Associate is a mid-level tax audit specialist responsible for data completion, maintaining the tax audit timeline, coordinating with clients to gather evidence, conducting necessary communication with the tax auditor, and supervising Junior Associates and Associates in tax audit tasks. This role provides deep understanding and exposure to analyzing clients’ tax obligations and financial statements, and understanding business processes and supply chains as critical building blocks for constructing audit defense arguments.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Tax Audit Response Preparation

  • Draft a comprehensive tax audit response based on the taxpayer's position, organizing supporting evidence under direct superior guidance.
  • Assist the direct superior and Managers regarding Tax auditor meetings and preparing minutes.
  • Provide guidance on research to subordinates for previous and similar cases and evidence databases for ongoing audit engagements.
  • Ability to assign tasks to subordinates based on workload.
  • Monitor tax audit case status, deadlines, and procedural requirements for the team’s portfolio.


Junior Team Supervision

  • Supervise and review subordinates’ work products on tax audit engagements.
  • Delegate research and data-gathering tasks, managing subordinates’ workload and development.
  • Contribute to team knowledge-sharing by documenting case learnings and dispute strategy insights.

Job requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Fiscal Administration with min.GPA 3.00/4.00.
  2. 3–5 years of experience in tax audit, tax dispute, or tax litigation at a tax consultant firm.
  3. Brevet A & B certification (mandatory); Brevet C is strongly preferred.
  4. Demonstrated proficiency in persuasive writing and structured argumentation.
  5. Familiarity with Tax Audit procedures, next legal action.
  6. Professional proficiency in English (mandatory).
