Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of 10–25 compliance clients across various industries, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery of tax filings such as SPT Masa, PPh, PPN, and SPT Tahunan.
- Own engagement economics, including scoping, fee estimation, budgeting, WIP tracking, billing, and profitability analysis.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and conduct the final-level review and sign-off on all tax computations and returns before submission.
- Review clients' Akta Pendirian, examine NIB and KBLI codes, and analyze business agreements to identify tax implications and ensure alignment with actual business operations.
- Map client supply chain models to identify indirect tax exposures (PPN/PPnBM), customs implications, and income tax nexus considerations.
- Design and implement comprehensive tax governance frameworks, internal control mechanisms, and risk assessment matrices for corporate clients.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (including UU HPP and PMK 81/2024 Coretax) and lead tax health checks to identify potential exposures or optimization opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop engagement teams of 5–15 professionals through structured coaching, on-the-job training, and periodic performance reviews.
- Build trusted advisory relationships at the C-suite level and identify cross-selling opportunities for services like transfer pricing and tax dispute resolution.
Job requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, Fiscal Administration, Finance, or Law. A Master’s degree (S2) in Taxation or Law is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in tax compliance and governance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity at a tax consulting firm or equivalent.
- Active Brevet A & B certification is mandatory, while Brevet C is strongly preferred. USKP B/C certification and/or an Izin Praktik Konsultan Pajak are significant advantages.
- Demonstrated proficiency in DGT platforms, including Coretax, e-SPT, e-Faktur, and e-Bupot.
- Strong working knowledge of tax technology tools and data analytics platforms, such as advanced Excel (VBA), Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Deep understanding of Indonesian corporate law (UUPT, KUHPerdata), commercial agreements, and regulatory frameworks governing NIB, KBLI, and OSS.
- Professional proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in other languages is considered an advantage.
