Job description
- Develop basic and detailed engineering works in a professional Engineering organisation under the direction of Discipline Leader / Manager to international & National codes and standarts.
- Work with Engineering and Construction personnel in the office and site to improve the Project Design and Construction using sound Engineering practices.
- Undertake Civil and Structural design calculations analysis, and modelling for static and dynamic loaded structures using engineering software tools and generate reports. Identify, propose and implement areas for improvement in the company civil & structural engineering works.
- Prepare design and construction documentation for Projects; Reports, Design Criteria, Specifications, Technical Queries, Meeting Minutes, Construction Packages for Contractors, etc. in English and Indonesian as required.
- Coordinate, mentor and review works from Design Engineers and Drafting Staff.
- Fabrication and Site technical supervision and quality reviews. Including generating accurate daily and weekly reports, ensuring all civil and structural tests & laboratory analysis are undertaken and conform with project requirements, stored in project folders.
- Maintaining a postitive and proactive relationship with client personel for the works.
- Support procurement and construction phases of projects, including assisting with preparation of labour/material estimates reviews & design packages, develop tender technical bid evaluation (TBE’s). provide activity duration input for schedules.
- Ensure the appropriate construction procedures and method statements are developed & followed during project execution.
- Development & project specific discipline deliverable list.
Job requirements
- Minimum bachelor degree from reputable university majoring in Civil Engineering
- Having industrial building experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills, including good command of English.
- Available position in Jakarta and site.
