Test Engineer Intern

Role Summary

We are looking for a QA Intern who is eager to gain hands-on exposure to both Manual and Automation Testing in a real production environment. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with senior QA engineers, developers, and product teams to support testing activities, ensure product quality, and build a strong foundation in software quality assurance.

This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want to develop practical QA skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven company.

Internship Details

• Duration: Minimum 1 year internship
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
• Office Location: Sudirman, Jakarta
• Language Requirement: English is a must (written & verbal)

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Assist senior QA engineers in writing and maintaining test cases and test scenarios
• Support the development and maintenance of basic automation scripts using tools such as Selenium or similar
• Perform API testing support using tools like Postman or Swagger
• Assist in performance/load testing activities using tools such as JMeter
• Log, track, and retest bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews)
• Maintain clear test documentation and test execution reports

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Exposure to software testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle) through coursework, bootcamps, or projects
• Basic understanding of manual testing principles
• Basic programming knowledge or scripting exposure
• Willingness to commit to a minimum 1-year internship
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• High willingness to learn, adapt, and take feedback

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Exposure

• Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
• Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git)
• Experience from academic projects, bootcamps, or personal testing projects
