Role Overview

The IT Infrastructure Supervisor leads the technical operations of the asset rental business, ensuring optimal lifecycle management, readiness, and reliability of IT assets deployed to clients. This role focuses on asset provisioning, maintenance, security compliance, and technical support, while supervising a team responsible for device preparation, deployment, and after-sales support. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with operational leadership to ensure high service quality and asset utilization.


Job Description:

Asset Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets: procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance, retrieval, and refurbishment
  • Ensure all devices meet quality, security, and client requirements before deployment
  • Manage asset tracking, inventory accuracy, and utilization optimization

Technical Operations

  • Supervise device setup, imaging, software installation, and hardening processes
  • Ensure standardization of configurations across clients
  • Handle technical escalations related to device performance, OS, and installed applications

Service Delivery & Support

  • Oversee technical support for deployed assets, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Ensure SLA adherence for incident response and resolution
  • Improve service quality and minimize downtime across client deployments

Project & Deployment Management

  • Plan and execute large-scale asset deployments for new and existing clients
  • Coordinate with commercial and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and readiness
  • Support onboarding of new clients from a technical readiness perspective

Vendor & Cost Management

  • Manage relationships with hardware vendors, service providers, and repair partners
  • Evaluate procurement options and ensure cost-effective asset sourcing and maintenance
  • Support refurbishment and resale strategy for idle or returned assets

People Management

  • Supervise and develop IT support and asset management team
  • Set priorities, allocate resources, and monitor team performance
  • Build standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure execution discipline

Strategy & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, reduce downtime, and extend asset lifespan
  • Support development of new service offerings (e.g., managed services, software bundling, device-as-a-service)
  • Align technical operations with business growth and client requirements




Job requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in IT asset management, end-user computing, or device operations
  • Experience in hardware lifecycle management, deployment, and technical support
  • Exposure to B2B service delivery or managed services is a strong plus

Technical Knowledge

  • End-user computing (laptops, desktops, mobile devices)
  • OS deployment, imaging, and device configuration (Windows/Mac)
  • Device security and hardening practices
  • Asset tracking systems and inventory management
  • Basic networking and cloud tools (supporting role, not core focus)

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong operational and execution mindset
  • Problem-solving in real-world device and user issues
  • Ability to manage high-volume deployments and tight timelines
  • Effective stakeholder communication (internal teams & clients)
  • Leadership and team development
