Corporate Strategy Manager

PT Sampingan Mitra Indonesia

Permanent

Hybrid

Job description

  • Act as the connective tissue of the function. Track every live workstream across the department - financing, M&A, diligence, strategic projects - and make sure each has a next step, an owner, and a deadline. Follow through relentlessly so nothing slips between functions.
  • Drive execution across teams you don't manage. Chase sign-offs and deliverables from finance, legal, ops, and leadership; escalate early when timelines are at risk; unblock workstreams by getting the right people in the room.
  • Run the operating cadence. Coordinate the department's planning and review rhythms (e.g., quarterly OKR cycles), prepare agendas and follow-ups, and keep trackers, Notion, and Slack workstreams.
  • Prepare leadership-grade materials. Draft lender communications, board and IC materials, memos, and analyses - synthesizing inputs from multiple teams into a clear, decision-ready form.
  • Own dataroom and diligence integrity. Build and maintain lender/investor datarooms; exercise judgment on what to present, to whom, and when; run reconciliations and sampling so nothing unverified reaches a counterparty.
  • Support financing execution end-to-end. Manage drawdown timelines from request to disbursement, coordinate documentation with counsel, and keep 20+ lender relationships administratively airtight.
  • Represent the department when needed. Stand in on calls and working sessions with lenders, advisors, and internal teams, carrying context and following through on commitments made.

Job requirements

  • Finance-institution background required, middle-office strongly preferred (investment bank, private-credit/PE fund, fund administrator, or similar) - you've operated between front office and back office and understand reconciliation, controls, and document integrity.
  • Experience supporting or running a fundraise or financing process - datarooms, diligence management, and disclosure judgment on what to share with whom.
  • A track record of managing many parallel threads to hard deadlines - from deal execution, transaction services, loan/deal operations, audit engagement management, or supporting a senior finance leader across a broad portfolio.
  • Technical financial training preferred: accounting qualification (CPA / CA / ACCA), audit experience (Big 4 or equivalent), or CFA.
