QS Engineer

PT Pudak Scientific is a manufacturing company in aerospace and precision part machining industry in Bandung, West Java.

We are currently looking for potential candidates to join us as a Quality Management System Engineer in our Quality Department. 

Job Description :

• Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) meets AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements
• Update and maintain QMS documents, including procedures and work instructions, with high attention to detail
• Identify and suggest QMS improvements based on in-depth research and best practices
• Prepare and support internal and external audits (certifications bodies, customer audits, etc)
• Follow up on audit findings and ensure corrective actions are completed
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collect and analyze quality-related data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Monitor QMS effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Conduct training on quality management systems for employees
• Promote quality awareness across the organization
• Support quality improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen
• Manage changes related to QMS and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields
• 2-3 years of experience in Quality Management Systems, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001/AS9100
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and communication)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards
• Experience with internal & external audits and corrective actions (CAPA)
• Familiar with problem-solving methods such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and FMEA
• Ability to use QMS tools such as document control systems and quality management software
• Experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Familiarity with aerospace or automotive quality standards
• Highly detail-oriented, with strong analytical and documentation skills
• Passion for continuously learning about quality standards and industry best practices
• Strong communication and coordination skills across departments
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proactive in identifying and implementing quality improvements
