Senior Software Engineer

What You Will Do:

• Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of features and systems, from ambiguous problem to production
• Partner with PM and designers to shape scope, surface trade-offs, and translate product goals into technical direction
• Drive technical decisions and architecture, and help set engineering standards across mobile (Flutter, Android) and backend (Ruby)
• Mentor engineers and raise quality through thoughtful code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Own the performance, reliability, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Continuously learn and bring in relevant new technologies

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years above of professional fullstack development experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience of Android development
• Well-known for the mobile application life cycle, architecture component, and ecosystem including third-party libraries
• Well-known for Backend development, synchronous and asynchronous, as well as database operation
• Proven track record of owning systems or projects end to end with minimal guidance
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, scope work independently, and deliver without constant mentoring
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across a team
• Understanding the major patterns of mobile applications design (MVC, MVP, MVVM) with sound architectural judgment
• Knowledge of the features of various versions of Android
• AI Native, familiar and keen to explore AI tools and workflow for daily work
• Growth mindset, with willingness to learn more stack in the future
• Professional communication in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience in any other app technology, Android and Flutter will be a plus
• Experience in any Backend technology, Ruby on Rails will be a plus
• Experience releasing and scaling successful mobile applications on the app store
• Experience in mobile testing
• Experience leading projects or mentoring within a team
