Product Manager - Lending

Job description

What You Will Do:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for consumer and merchant lending products.
  • Define and execute the product roadmap to grow loan origination, improve portfolio quality, and drive engagement across consumer and merchant segments.
  • Collaborate with credit risk, compliance, operations, and engineering teams to design lending flows that are intuitive, scalable, and compliant.
  • Develop and experiment with credit policies, pricing strategies, and loan structures to optimize for uptake and repayment.
  • Work with data teams to track product performance and cohort behavior; use insights to iterate and improve key KPIs such as approval rate, conversion rate, and delinquency.
  • Partner with commercial and marketing teams to discover new lending opportunities in the broader Fazz ecosystem.
  • Champion the customer—ensuring our lending products are trusted, accessible, and create positive impact.

Job requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2–4 years of product management experience in lending, credit, fintech, or consumer financial services (startup or fast-growth company preferred).
  • Thrives in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities and the ability to turn ambiguity into action.
  • Experience building or scaling digital credit products (e.g., personal loans, SME loans, BNPL, working capital).
  • Understanding of key lending principles: risk management, underwriting, collections, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong ownership mindset, you take initiative, drive products from 0 to 1, and scale them with long-term sustainability in mind.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, skilled at aligning cross-functional teams and engaging senior leaders. You swiftly remove blockers and drive clear decisions in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Data-driven decision-making, you rely on metrics and insights to prioritize effectively, experiment boldly, and continuously improve.
