Job description

What You Will Do:

Regulatory Compliance

  • Monitor and track relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory updates issued by OJK, Bank Indonesia, Komdigi, and other relevant authorities.
  • Assist in reviewing regulatory developments and assessing their impact on the Company's business activities.
  • Maintain compliance registers, regulatory trackers, and supporting documentation.
  • Support the implementation of compliance initiatives and internal controls.

Product & Business Compliance

  • Assist in reviewing business processes, products, and operational activities from a legal and compliance perspective.
  • Support cross-functional teams in identifying regulatory requirements applicable to new initiatives.
  • Escalate potential legal and compliance risks to management when necessary.

Legal Drafting & Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and maintain standard legal documents and agreements, including:
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  • Service Agreements
  • Partnership Agreements
  • Vendor Agreements
  • Employment-related documents
  • Other commercial contracts
  • Coordinate contract execution and maintain contract records and databases.
  • Assist in reviewing legal terms and identifying key legal risks in agreements.

Corporate Legal & Licensing

  • Maintain corporate records, licenses, permits, and legal documentation.
  • Coordinate with external counsel, consultants, and notaries as required.
  • Support corporate actions and legal documentation processes.
  • Assist in legal due diligence and document collection exercises.

Regulatory Reporting & Regulatory Liaison

  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory requests and information inquiries.
  • Maintain records of regulatory correspondence and submissions.
  • Follow up on action items arising from regulatory reviews and audits.

Data Privacy & Consumer Protection

  • Assist in reviewing customer-facing legal documents, including Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies.
  • Support compliance with applicable data protection and consumer protection requirements.
  • Assist in handling customer complaints or regulatory matters with legal or compliance implications.

Policies, Procedures & Governance

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Support compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Maintain records of policy reviews, approvals, and training activities.
  • Assist with internal compliance reviews and monitoring activities.

Job requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Secretary, or a related field.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, technology companies, or regulated industries is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Indonesian laws and regulations, particularly in the financial services and technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with contract drafting, legal review, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal/compliance documentation management.
