Job description

The core responsibilities of a Sales Marketing Lead typically include:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, goals, and annual operating plans.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing teams, including setting performance metrics (KPIs) and conducting training.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, manage, and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social media, content, events) to generate high-quality sales leads.
  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize the sales and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify new opportunities and refine product positioning.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide the sales team with necessary tools, materials, and product knowledge to effectively engage prospects and close deals.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Track, analyze, and report on sales and marketing performance data (e.g., pipeline, conversion rates, campaign effectiveness) and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with key accounts and high-value clients to foster loyalty and identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling.


Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree may be preferred for senior roles).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in sales and/or marketing, with a proven track record of successful strategy implementation.
  • Experience in a leadership or managerial role is typically required.
