Overview:
The QA/QC Inspector ensures that all construction activities meet the required project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role conducts inspections, testing, documentation reviews, and quality verifications across civil, mechanical, electrical, or TSF disciplines. The position plays a key part in verifying work compliance, supporting mechanical completion, and ensuring all quality records are properly maintained for turnover.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field inspections and quality checks according to approved ITPs and standards.
• Verify material compliance, including welding, concrete, structural steel, and E&I components.
• Perform testing and review results to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Issue NCRs, punch items, and QA tickets when deviations are found.
• Coordinate with contractors for closure of QA/QC findings.
• Maintain and update QA/QC logs, inspection reports, and turnover documentation.
• Support mechanical completion and system handover processes.
• Work closely with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure quality readiness.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years QA/QC inspection experience in relevant discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or TSF).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Welding Inspector, Concrete Inspector, Electrical QA/QC).
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Experienced with ITPs, method statements, and construction quality systems.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Familiar with turnover and mechanical completion processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
