Runner Daily Worker - La Brisa

As a runner in a restaurant, the aim is to help the waiter/waitress in operations, especially in serving guests. Runners are very necessary, especially in restaurants that are always busy. Apart from being able to help waiters or waitresses,

runners can also take orders to guests if operations are very busy. As a person, runner has full responsibility for the food and drinks that will be brought to the guest's table. Here are some of the responsibilities of a runner.

• Full high school education and completion of his or her chosen academics

• One year of experience in a waitress / runner / or similar

• Knowledge of restaurant and bar procedures, set up and service

• Very good command over written and spoken English

• An offering of local language and their customs is highly encouraged

• Excellent communicator with the ability to multitask

• Master the technique of carrying a tray properly so that you are able to carry a lot and quite heavy items

• Understand the equipment that is frequently used and the function of that equipment.
