Fashion Designer

We are seeking a talented and technically skilled Fashion Designer with production knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision combined with hands-on experience in garment manufacturing processes, ensuring that designs can be produced efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. This role involves collaboration with the production, merchandising, and technical teams to bring innovative designs to life, from concept to final product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create original fashion concepts, sketches, and technical drawings for new collections
• Research and stay updated on fashion trends, fabrics, and market demands to develop relevant designs.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate creative ideas into commercially viable designs.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs can be manufactured within cost and time constraints.
• Assist in the development of samples and oversee the transition from design to production.
• Provide input on material selection, garment construction, and finishing techniques to ensure production feasibility.
• Monitor quality standards at different stages of production to maintain design integrity.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer, with at least 1 years of involvement in production.
3. 3. Proficiency in technical drawing with design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc)
4. Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textile properties.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality in both design and production.
8. Familiarity with global production standards and supply chain management.
9. Experience working with different types of materials and understanding of material testing processes.
10. Strong problem-solving skills to address production challenges and ensure efficient operations.
