Ocean Department Supervisor

PT Januardi Putera Logistik are hiring for Ocean Department Supervisor (Sea Freight) with the details belows: 

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the sea freight operations team in handling the import-export process, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining service standards to customers. This role also includes coordination with shipping lines, trucking, and customs.

Job Descriptions : 

• Lead and supervise Ocean Freight operational team (FCL/LCL Export & Import).
• Ensure export-import documentation process runs smoothly and according to SOP.
• Coordinate with shipping line, EMKL, PPJK, and related parties.
• Prepare shipment, cost efficiency, and team performance reports.
• Provide solutions to shipping problems (delay, misrouting, etc.).
• Train and foster a team to improve work effectiveness.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum S1 education (preferably majoring in Logistics, Transportation, or Management).
• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to communicate with Chinese clients and partners.
• Minimum 4 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the Sea Freight industry.
• Understand export-import process, shipping documents (MBL, HBL, BL, COO, PEB, PIB).
• Have good leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
• Accustomed to using logistics/expedition operational systems (TMS, ERP, etc.).
• Willing to work at Puri Indah Financial Tower, West Jakarta.
