Lead material planning activities for new model development by coordinating production trials, supplier readiness, and purchase order execution
Manage and monitor import shipments (sea, air, and express), including ETD/ETA tracking, delivery status, and on-time material availability
Coordinate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance to ensure smooth import operations
Analyze lead times, shipment methods, logistics costs, and recommend the most effective transportation solutions based on project requirements
Support import compliance, internal audits, reporting activities, and documentation related to imported and local materials
Identify, assess, and escalate potential risks affecting new model preparation, including material shortages, shipment delays, specification changes, supplier capacity, and operational constraints
Conduct supplier capacity audits and evaluate supplier readiness for both local and overseas suppliers
Oversee and control material planning, inventory readiness, and supply chain activities to ensure successful new model launches and uninterrupted production
Job requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Material Control, Import Logistics, Supply Chain, or related functions, with experience leading or coordinating a team
Strong understanding of import regulations, customs clearance, Incoterms, international shipping processes, and end-to-end logistics operations
Experience using ERP systems is preferred
Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously while working effectively under tight deadlines
Good command of English, both written and spoken. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
Experience in Supplier Capacity Risk Audits, supplier assessment, and new model preparation is highly preferred
