Lead the design and development of mechanical and structural systems for vehicle applications
Drive product development from concept, design validation, and prototyping through to production
Conduct engineering analysis, including structural, dynamic, fatigue, and simulation studies (FEA/CAE)
Apply strong engineering fundamentals to solve complex design and performance challenges.
Collaborate closely with suppliers, including international partners, on component development and manufacturing processes
Develop manufacturable 3D CAD models and ensure seamless integration across cross-functional teams
Mentor and support the growth of junior engineers through technical guidance and best-practice design methodologies
Establish and continuously improve engineering standards, processes, and design best practices
Contribute to technical and strategic decision-making as a key member of the engineering leadership team
Job requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably from non-automotive industries
Experience in industries such as Aerospace, Heavy Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Consumer Products, Medical Devices, or similar engineering-driven sectors
Strong foundation in engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and thermodynamics
Hands-on experience with structural analysis and simulation tools (FEA/CAE), such as Ansys, Nastran, Abaqus, or equivalent
Proficient in 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, or similar platforms
Proven experience working with and managing Chinese suppliers, including design coordination, manufacturing, and quality-related activities
Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, products, and engineering domain
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a structured engineering approach
