Design and develop electrical harnesses and power distribution systems, covering high-voltage and low-voltage systems, to ensure proper operation of electrical components in electric vehicles
Ensure reliable electrical power distribution and prevent potential electrical hazards, interference, and system failures
Select, design, and integrate various sensors to measure parameters such as temperature, speed, position, current, and voltage in electric motor systems
Develop and configure sensor reading systems and convert sensor signals into reliable data that can be processed by vehicle control systems
Select, design, and integrate various switches and control components, including power switches, mode switches, and other electrical controls, to support electric motor functions
Ensure the reliability and proper functioning of switching and electrical control systems through testing and validation
Select appropriate electrical components based on engineering specifications, system requirements, and vehicle performance needs
Perform electrical simulations and analyses to validate harness, sensor, switch, and other electrical system designs against functional and performance requirements
Identify, analyze, and resolve potential electrical system issues, conflicts, and integration challenges
Collaborate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, Software, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components
Support the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure system reliability, safety, and performance according to project requirements
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant engineering fields
Minimum 2 years of experience in firmware development, embedded systems, or a related engineering role
Familiarity with EV electrical circuits and automotive electrical systems
Familiarity with CAN communication and CAN-based systems
Proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded firmware development
Experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems, firmware debugging, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with CAD/CAE simulation tools and the ability to understand electrical or mechanical system designs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically
Proficiency in data analysis software and engineering tools for testing, analysis, and reporting
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams
