Job description
- Design and develop production equipment, including machines, jigs, fixtures, and special tools
- Monitor and ensure the suitability and performance of jigs used in the production process
- Monitor and evaluate production tools to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency
- Lead and monitor equipment improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality
- Analyze and resolve production equipment-related issues through effective problem-solving
- Develop and update assembly process layouts to support efficient production flow
- Maintain supplier quality documentation and ensure its accuracy and compliance
Job requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Technical Engineering fields)
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the automotive industry (2W or 4W)
- Experienced in designing jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing machines
- Proficient in CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Familiar with conducting internal audits and supplier audits
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Good understanding of machining and fabrication processes
