Manage end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships for Electric 2-Wheeler (E2W) components, with a primary focus on electrical and electronic parts, while supporting body, chassis, and plastic component procurement when required
Develop and execute sourcing strategies, conduct supplier selection and evaluation, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and drive cost reduction initiatives while ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technology (QCDT) requirements.
Ensure the availability of materials and components to support project integration, new product introduction (NPI), and manufacturing operations
Collaborate closely with Engineering, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and suppliers to support product development, project execution, technical innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality, delivery issues, implement corrective actions, and drive supplier development programs to improve overall supply chain performance
Lead supply chain optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve lead times, and strengthen operational excellence
Ensure all purchased components comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability objectives
Support environmental and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across procurement, quality, and operational processes
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is an advantage
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within the automotive or EV industry. Experience in body, chassis, and plastic components is preferred
Strong understanding of cost structures, raw material pricing, and cost drivers, with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven project management experience is required
Solid knowledge of electric vehicle systems, particularly body and chassis, including battery integration, lightweight materials, and aerodynamics
Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and resolving issues effectively
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
