Field Collection Supervisor (National)

Job description

  • Manage overall field collection performance across branches, including monitoring collector productivity and recovery outcomes.
  • Supervise and develop in-house collectors, including recruitment, deployment, and performance management.
  • Manage outsourced collection vendors, including selection, contracting, and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee repossession processes, including granting authority, monitoring execution, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Support vehicle repossession, auction, and litigation processes in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle special collection cases, including fraud, complaints, and bankruptcy accounts.
  • Review and manage rescheduling requests and coordinate decisions with relevant parties.
  • Support the development and implementation of collection operational policies and readiness for new branch or system launches.
  • Prepare and report collection performance updates to management and headquarters.

Job requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field collection within consumer finance or automotive finance industry.
  • Experience managing collectors and/or third-party collection vendors.
  • Experience handling repossession processes and recovery operations.
  • Experience coordinating collection activities across multiple locations or branches will be an advantage.
  • Experience supporting collection operations during business expansion or new branch setup will be an advantage.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant operational experience may be considered equivalent.


Core Competencies

  • Strong leadership capability in managing field collection teams and vendors.
  • Strong understanding of collection processes, repossession procedures, and related regulations.
  • Ability to monitor performance and drive recovery results through structured supervision.
  • Good coordination and communication skills with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to work in operational and target-driven environments.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
