Key Account Manager

This Key Account Manager position is responsible for driving sales and business development within key customer accounts by developing and executing effective account strategies. The role will be focusing on identifying growth opportunities, managing sales pipelines and forecasts, and leading negotiations for large-scale equipment sales as well as long-term supply or rental agreements.

The role also serves as the primary point of contact for key customers, building strong relationships with decision-makers and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution. Close coordination with internal teams—including service, parts, finance, and logistics—is essential to ensure product support commitments are met and machine deliveries run smoothly.

In addition, the position monitors market trends, competitor activity, and account performance. Regular reporting on sales progress, customer issues, machine population, and outstanding receivables is required, along with coordination with Finance to manage payment collection and credit exposure.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or key account management within a construction equipment dealership, with a proven ability to manage large customers or fleet accounts. Strong technical knowledge of construction or mining equipment, combined with excellent negotiation and presentation skills, is essential.

This role requires a strategic, customer-oriented professional who can analyze customer business potential and develop tailored solutions. High self-motivation, strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts are critical. Integrity, discipline, and a collaborative mindset are key attributes for success in this position.
