Accounting Cost Retail Supervisor (Maternity Leave Cover – 3 Months Contract)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Cost Retail Supervisor to support our team during a 3-month maternity leave period. This role will be responsible for monitoring retail operational costs, ensuring accounting accuracy, and supporting financial reporting activities across retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and monitor retail operational expenses for stores and head office.
• Analyze and reconcile actual and accrual expenses, liabilities, and cost-related accounts.
• Prepare accurate and timely cost reports for management and financial reporting purposes.
• Monitor payroll, commission, rental, and marketing expenses.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
• Verify compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting, Cost Accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Familiar with accruals, liabilities reconciliation, and expense analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
