Business Development & Project Executive Intern

Roles & Responsibilities 

BookMyShow Indonesia is a regional ticketing start-up, selling events, movies, attractions and more. Our team is looking for interns from College/Polytechnic or University who can commit to a full-time internship for 1 to 3 months with our Business Development/Client Services team. 

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain close communication with clients to ensure details of their events are accurately captured
• Liaise with other departments to ensure events information is accurate, duly disseminated, and ready for sales 
• Assist in Seat Management, including reservation of seats for client’s guests 
• Resolve ticketing issues promptly and effectively
• Prepare post-events reconciliation reports 
• Be present onsite during event days to handle any operational matters

• Current College/Polytechnic/University Student 
• Good command of written and verbal English 
• Friendly, Passionate, and Energetic Team Player 
• Organized with Good Administrative Skills and an Eye for Detail
• Familiar with MS Excel/Google Sheet
• A passion to understand the Arts and Entertainment Industry
• Proactive and willingness to learn

• Gain a complete learning experience of ticketing processes to ensure an event’s success from the start to the end 
• Participate in on-site experiences during event/show days 
• Hands-on experience in how to handle both clients and the public on event/show days
• Hands-on experience in the preparation of inventories, discussion on the seat management system, the printing of tickets for guests 
• Ability to learn how to prepare post-event reviews and reports 
• Learn and experience how to use our in-house ticketing system for the seat management system and all  other ticketing aspects 
• Working with other teams on how to optimize and improve sales
