Job description
- Design and implement regulatory and compliance frameworks to ensure the company is compliant with regulatory obligations.
- Oversee the compliance operations such as customer onboarding,sanctions screening, regulatory reporting procedures.
- Review and implement compliance tools to enable prompt and adequate detection of unusual activities and investigate, report suspicious activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the compliance Subject Matter Expert to the business.
Job requirements
- 10+ years of relevant working experience in a regulatory compliance role.
- Background in Payments, Fintech, Banking, Financial Institutions, or other relevant industry
- Versatile in managing different stakeholders and understand business needs whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Demonstrated experience managing relationships with different regulatory authorities, with a keen understanding of their concerns and requirements.
- Capable of managing multiple complex compliance projects and requests, with a high regard for accuracy and attention to details.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on approach.
- Strong leadership skills to build a high performing team and strong interpersonal skills to build relationship with all stakeholders.
- Efficient and independent in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
- Strong written and verbal English language skills, at ease of communicating and presenting to senior management and regulatory bodies.
