This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be involved in pet sitting, assisting with grooming, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting our pet store operations whenever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Pet Care

• Feed, monitor, and care for dogs and cats.
• Clean kennels, cages, litter boxes, and play areas.
• Walk and exercise dogs.
• Supervise playtime and monitor pet behavior.
• Administer basic care following company procedures.
• Report any health or behavioral concerns to supervisors.

Grooming Assistance

• Bathe and dry dogs and cats.
• Brush coats and perform basic grooming preparation.
• Clean grooming equipment and workstations.
• Assist groomers during grooming sessions.
• Ensure pets remain calm, comfortable, and safe.

Pet Store Support

• Assist customers with product inquiries.
• Restock shelves and organize merchandise.
• Receive and arrange inventory.
• Operate the cashier when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the retail area.
• Support promotional displays and merchandising.

General Duties

• Maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Assist other departments during busy periods.
• Follow animal welfare and workplace safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive and professional team environment.

Working Hours

• Full-time
• Rotating shifts
• Weekend and public holiday availability required

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Loves dogs and cats and enjoys working with animals every day.
• Is physically fit and comfortable standing, lifting, cleaning, and handling active pets.
• Is patient, gentle, and attentive when interacting with animals.
• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Is willing to learn and receive training.
• Can work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Is reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Has good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pet care, grooming, veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, pet hotels, or pet stores is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with a strong passion for animals are welcome to apply.
