Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations, strategic sourcing activities, and supplier management across multiple business units. This role will play an important part in ensuring procurement efficiency, cost optimization, and smooth purchasing processes while supporting business operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, price negotiation, purchasing, and delivery monitoring.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support procurement efficiency initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
  • Conduct supplier evaluation and performance monitoring based on service quality, pricing, and contractual obligations.
  • Support strategic sourcing activities through market research, vendor benchmarking, and pricing comparisons.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of purchasing needs.
  • Prepare procurement reports, purchasing summaries, and supplier analysis for management review.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier developments relevant to company operations.
  • Ensure procurement documentation, contracts, and records are properly maintained and compliant with company policies.
  • Support procurement process improvements and contribute to operational optimization initiatives.
  • Assist in procurement projects and other assignments as directed by management.


Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation strategies.
  • Experience in handling purchasing activities across multiple categories/vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.
  • Experience using ERP systems (Oracle, or similar platforms) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in a group or multi-business-unit environment is an advantage.
