Job description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support procurement operations through data-driven analysis, spend monitoring, and strategic sourcing insights. This role will play a key part in improving procurement efficiency, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting decision-making across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze procurement spending, purchasing trends, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives through market research, benchmarking, and pricing analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against agreed service levels, pricing, and contractual obligations.
  • Conduct cost analysis and procurement forecasting to support budget planning and decision-making.
  • Consolidate procurement data across business units to provide actionable insights and enhance group-wide purchasing efficiency.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and selection by conducting comparative analysis of supplier proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and provide analytical support for sourcing decisions.
  • Identify procurement process inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Ensure procurement records, reports, and documentation are accurate, organized, and compliant with company policies.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier developments relevant to business needs.
  • Support procurement projects and initiatives as assigned by management.


Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing analysis, supply chain analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, spend analysis, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Data Analysis); experience with Power BI/Tableau is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement platforms).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a group or multi-business-unit environment is an advantage.
