We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Permit Coordinator. Based at our Head Office, this role is responsible for coordinating and managing all licensing and permit processes related to mall operations activities across the entire NWP Property mall portfolio, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance in every operating region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the application, renewal, and monitoring of operational permits and licenses for all NWP Property malls (e.g., building permits/PBG, operational feasibility certificates/SLF, fire safety permits, environmental permits, and other applicable local government licenses).
  • Coordinate tenant-related permits and licenses required for fit-out and store operations, ensuring tenants comply with local regulatory requirements before store opening.
  • Liaise with local government agencies, municipal authorities, fire departments, and other regulatory bodies to obtain, renew, and maintain all required permits in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Engineering, Fit Out, Operations, and Asset Management teams to ensure permit requirements are integrated into project timelines and mall operational plans.
  • Monitor permit expiration dates and proactively manage renewal processes to avoid compliance gaps or operational disruptions.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date database/tracker of all permits, licenses, and regulatory documents across the mall portfolio.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on changes in local and national regulations affecting mall operations, building safety, and tenant fit-out requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports on permit status, compliance risks, and renewal progress for management.
  • Travel to NWP Property malls nationwide to coordinate with local authorities, mall management teams, and support on-site permit-related matters as required.


Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Permit/Licensing Coordination, Legal Compliance, Government Relations, or similar roles within shopping malls, retail, hospitality, or commercial property industries.
  • Strong understanding of building permits, operational licenses, fire safety regulations, and local government compliance processes in Indonesia.
  • Proven experience liaising with government agencies and regulatory bodies at the local and regional level.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple permits and deadlines across various locations simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with permit tracking or compliance management systems is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel frequently to NWP Property malls across Indonesia.
