Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests by preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring a welcoming and memorable experience. The role requires strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar operations, as well as excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and hospitality.

As a Bartender at Nikoi Private Island, you will deliver warm, personalized, and attentive service while creating memorable beverage experiences for our guests. You will prepare Classic and Contemporary Cocktails, utilize homemade and locally inspired ingredients, and apply your knowledge of Nusantara ingredients and Arak-based mixology. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth bar operations and exceptional service while upholding the resort's high standards of hospitality in a unique island environment.

• Minimum qualification of SMK in Tourism/Hospitality or Diploma 1 (D1) in Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of spirits and wine is required.
• Knowledge and experience in preparing Classic and Contemporary Cocktails.
• Knowledge of infusion techniques and homemade ingredients, including infused spirits, syrups, and bitters.
• Knowledge of Nusantara ingredients and Arak-based mixology, including coconut arak, local spices, and traditional herbal ingredients (jamu).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area.
• Willingness to live and work on Nikoi Private Island during the employment period.
