On behalf of our client, a premier, household-name retail enterprise headquartered in Singapore with a well-established international footprint and a heritage of quality and operational excellence, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join their team as they actively modernize their omni-channel capabilities and leverage a sophisticated regional technology footprint to support their digital and brick-and-mortar operations.

Role Summary

Own client's Shopify Plus e-commerce platform end-to-end: storefront development, checkout customisation, custom app development, API integrations connecting Shopify to client's downstream systems, and Shopify POS configuration for concept store deployments. This specialist is also responsible for front-end development on the Microsoft Power Pages Vendor Portal in close collaboration with the Power Platform Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Shopify Plus storefront: theme development (Liquid), Checkout Extensibility scripting, front-end component builds, and storefront performance optimisation.
• Build and maintain all API integrations between Shopify and client's ecosystem: last-mile fulfilment, loyalty CRM (Eagle Eye), marketing automation, payment gateways, channel connectors, and the AWS data hub.
• Develop custom Shopify apps and private apps for client-specific functionality beyond native platform capabilities.
• Configure and support Shopify POS deployments for concept stores: product setup, hardware configuration, staff permissions, and integration with concept store inventory systems.
• Contribute to the Power Pages Vendor Portal front-end: portal page builds, Liquid templating, and UI components, working alongside the Power Platform Specialist.
• Maintain clean, documented code in Azure DevOps; participate in code reviews; follow client's branching and deployment standards.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support: diagnose, fix, and document Shopify and integration issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Shopify development; Shopify Plus experience preferred, but standard Shopify experience is acceptable with a strong aptitude to learn Plus features quickly.
• Demonstrable portfolio of live Shopify Plus theme builds and API integration projects, required at interview.
• Strong REST and GraphQL API knowledge, with production integration experience.
• English proficiency at B2 minimum (IELTS 6.0); mandatory assessment at interview.
• Demonstrated ability to self-direct development from user stories through to production deployment without close supervision.

Technical Proficiency

• Shopify Plus: Liquid, Checkout Extensibility, Scripts, Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, Shopify CLI, Launchpad.
• Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React or Vue.js.
• Back-end: Node.js or Python for app server and webhook handling.
• Azure Functions or AWS Lambda for integration middleware.
• Microsoft Power Pages: front-end page development and Liquid templating.
• Git / Azure DevOps.
• Full-stack development capabilities (ability to compare solutions and perform analysis on customization options).

Nice to Have

• Shopify Plus B2B functionality.
• Singapore payment gateway experience (2c2p).
• ERP integration experience (D365 or equivalent).
• Eagle Eye API integration.
