Job description

1. Project-Based Finance (Primary Focus: Movie & VFX Production)

  • Project Budget Management: Track, record, and manage project costs (production expenses, external vendors, freelancers) accurately for each ongoing movie or VFX project.
  • Production Fund Allocation: Process, distribute, and monitor Cash Advances (CA) directly related to production needs, ensuring the completeness of accountability reports from the production team.
  • Project Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic profitability and budget realization reports per project for management review.

2. Daily Operations & Accounting Management

  • Cash & Daily Expenses: Manage petty cash for the daily operational and household needs of the studio.
  • Payment Execution: Process and authorize secure banking transactions, including vendor payments, utility bills, and internal disbursements, utilizing corporate bank tokens (e.g., KlikBCA).
  • Procurement & AP/AR: Manage the procurement cycle (sourcing vendors, issuing Purchase Orders), track invoices, and ensure smooth Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Bills & Utilities: Monitor and execute payments for monthly facility expenses (electricity, water, rent, software/cloud subscriptions for production) in coordination with broader corporate/holding management.

3. Tax & Compliance

  • Bookkeeping: Ensure that the recording of all daily and project-based financial transactions is neat, accurate, and well-documented.
  • Tax Administration: Collect withholding tax slips, calculate, and coordinate the reporting of corporate tax obligations (specifically PPh 21, 23, 4(2), and VAT) related to vendors and operations.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable regulatory standards.


Job requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum 1–2 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance (experience in the film industry, a production house, agency, or creative studio is a significant advantage).
  3. Solid understanding of tax administration in Indonesia (Brevet A & B certification is highly preferred).
  4. Proficient in using accounting software, advanced Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems (Odoo, Acurate)
  5. Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and possess strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with the production team and holding management.
