Minimum 5–6 years of professional experience in compositing and/or digital matte painting for VFX, animation, or film productions.
Expert proficiency in Nuke, with extensive experience integrating CG and live-action elements into high-quality final shots.
Strong understanding of compositing fundamentals, including color management, color grading, matte extraction, keying, roto, cleanup, and image integration.
Excellent artistic eye for composition, lighting, perspective, color, scale, and visual continuity.
Proven experience creating or supervising high-quality digital matte paintings and environment extensions.
Solid understanding of VFX production pipelines and collaboration across CG, Lighting, FX, Tracking, and Editorial departments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop efficient creative and technical solutions.
Experience with scripting, gizmo development, or workflow automation (e.g., Python or BlinkScript) is a plus.
Experience leading, mentoring, or reviewing the work of compositors or matte painters in a production environment is a plus.
