Job description
- Demonstrate leadership skills and support junior and mid-level animators in problem-solving.
- Complete assigned shots while delivering high-quality and creative animation results.
- Identify and resolve technical or software-related animation issues.
- Proficient in Autodesk Maya, and open to learning additional tools required for project related needs.
Job requirements
- Strong understanding of the 12 Principles of Animation.
- Possesses a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Solid technical knowledge in animation workflows and production.
- Creative and imaginative, with a good sense of motion and timing.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in animation production.
- Proficient in English is a plus
- Experience in motion capture is a plus
Portfolio Requirements:
- An online portfolio (ArtStation, Vimeo, YouTube, personal website, etc.).
- A compilation of your best 3D animation work that demonstrates a strong understanding of timing, spacing, weight, and acting, while also showcasing your range, creativity, and attention to detail.
- If possible, include playblasts or rendered sequences showing both the final animation and, if possible, breakdowns (blocking, spline, final).
- If possible, include a small window of your video reference within the reel to showcase the development from reference to final animation.
