Job Role: Social Media Strategist
Location: Jakarta (on-site)
Type: Full-time | Marketing
About Kite
Kite is a stablecoin-native neobank reimagining cross-border finance. We help users hold digital dollars, move money across borders efficiently, and spend globally via local payment rails and cards.
About the Role
We are hiring a Social Media Strategist who can own strategy + execution: define what we say, when we say it, and how it ladders up to growth while turning product and community insights into consistent, high-performing content.
Responsibilities
1) Social Media Strategy (End-to-End)
- Build and run Kite’s social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn (final channel mix based on traction)
- Define content pillars (e.g., product value, creator/community stories)
- Translate business goals (acquisition, activation, trust) into social objectives, KPIs, and weekly execution plans.
- Develop and iterate Kite’s voice, tone, and brand personality (clear, trustworthy, modern, slightly witty but never cringe)
2) Content Calendar + Publishing Operations
- Own the monthly/weekly content calendar, campaign themes, and posting cadence.
- Write strong hooks, captions, scripts, and brief the Graphic Designer with clear creative direction.
- Manage end-to-end publishing: scheduling, community posts, cross-posting, pinning, highlights, bio/links.
- Run lightweight project management: ensure content moves from idea → brief → draft → design → review → publish.
3) Content Production (Lightweight, High-Speed)
- Create quick, native content where needed (phone-shot videos, screen recordings, simple edits).
- Work with internal stakeholders to source stories: user insights, product updates, FAQs, customer pain points.
- Maintain a reusable content library (templates, best hooks, formats, b-roll list, brand guidelines, CTA bank).
4) Community & Engagement
- Manage comments/DMs with a clear playbook (response tone, escalation rules, safety/compliance boundaries).
- Build feedback loops: surface user objections, feature requests, and confusion points back to Product/CS.
- Identify and nurture KOLs: creators, referrers, community advocates.
5) Performance, Insights, and Growth Loops
- Track weekly performance and learnings (reach, watch time, saves, CTR, follower growth, engagement rate).
- Run a consistent experimentation system: A/B hooks, formats, CTAs, posting times, series.
- Partner with Performance Marketing to create paid-boostable organic winners and UGC-style ads
