Process Engineer

PT JFE Engineering Indonesia is looking for a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our Engineering team.

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering process engineering activities from basic to detailed engineering design, including process calculations, simulations, and technical documentation to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering activities for basic and detailed engineering projects.
• Prepare process calculations, technical analyses, reports, and engineering documents.
• Develop PFD/UFD, P&ID, and Cause & Effect Diagrams.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Support process optimization and provide technical solutions to improve plant safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Engineering.

Good command of English (Japanese proficiency is an advantage).

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Familiar with Aspen HYSYS and HTRI.

Knowledge & Skills

Perform process calculations, including hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, heat exchanger thermal design/rating, and PSV sizing calculations.

Develop and analyze process simulations using Aspen HYSYS or equivalent software.

Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFD/UFD), Heat & Material Balance (HMB), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Cause & Effect Diagrams.

Experience in process safety engineering and package equipment engineering is preferred.
