HSE Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified HSE Specialist to join our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) team at the Head Office. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective HSE compliance, risk management, and safety protocols across our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure strict adherence to all occupational health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and internal company procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Supervise specialized high-risk work activities, including scaffolding setup, lifting operations, and working at height safely.
• Monitor HSE training programs, tool-box talks, and promote a strong culture of safety within the organization.
• Investigate incidents or near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably majoring in Engineering.

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE).

Required Certifications & Technical Skills:

• Certified AK3 Umum / OHS General Expert by the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker).
• Certified Scaffolding Supervisor.
• Certified / Competent in Working at Height.
• Certified Lifting Inspector.

Proficient in English (both written and spoken).

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Based in Head Office, but must be willing to be assigned/deployed to field sites as needed
