Supply Chain Team Leader

Job description

  • Supervise daily team activities and provide guidance to ensure work is completed properly.
  • Build a positive and accountable team environment to support performance and productivity.
  • Oversee fleet operations, including vehicle condition, scheduling, fuel usage, and compliance.
  • Ensure all operational activities follow company procedures, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular stock opname of fleet/assets for reporting purposes.
  • Handle and make decisions on vehicle-related issues, including damages and traffic violations (e.g. e-tilang).
  • Monitor KPIs (linehaul, 3PL courier, air shipment vendors) and take corrective actions when targets are not met.
  • Coordinate shipment planning and execution with 3PL couriers and air freight vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain good working relationships with vendors (maintenance, fuel, rental, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and environmental standards related to fleet management.
  • Conduct routine checks and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Mitigate operational risks and implement preventive actions to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team and daily operations. 


Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or fleet operations, with team handling experience.
  • Strong understanding of fleet operations, vendor coordination, and delivery processes.
  • Familiar with KPI monitoring and operational performance management.
  • Good leadership and decision-making skills in operational environments.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with operational systems is a plus.
