Lecturer, D3 Midwifery

​Summary of Position

Every lecturer shall uphold the highest possible standards of quality education, shall make the best preparations for the career of teaching, and shall be at his best at all times in the practice of the profession.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities​

1. To facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and skills with confidence and direction, geared towards the development of the analytical and creative faculties of students.
2. To meet scheduled classes conscientiously and be available for consultation
3. To determine course requirements for their classes and evaluate and grade the performance of their students in accordance with departmental policies on course content and grading system
4. To continually explore areas of inquiry through various forms of research and other study that will address to the requirements of the discipline and the development concerns of the society
5. To continuously develop their knowledge of and skills within the discipline to which they belong
6. To be involved in discipline-related consultancies or projects beyond the confines of the academic community for professional growth
7. To participate in various councils/committees/boards that program/plan/implement curricular and/or co-curricular activities, and to engage in peer evaluation and academic advising upon request
8. To participate in community service either in school-sponsored community extension projects or in their own community/sectoral/professional organizations, in government/non-government, and international organizations.

• Preferably a graduate of Master's Degree (S2) - Midwifery or Health Science
• ​Has at least 2 years of relevant teaching experience and training in the field of Midwifery
• At least 2 years of work experience as practicioner or experience 1 year of teaching
• Must be proficient  in  MS Office -  word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint
• Comfortable in using email and different social media platforms for communication
• Possesses good oral and written  communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Possesses  good analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills
• A team player
• An advantage if the candidate  has NIDN ( Nomor Induk Dosen Nasional)
