Job description
- Primarily responsible for all matters affecting general academic and administrative concerns of the college
- To uphold and protect Horizon Education and/or PHINMA Education academic standards.
- To prepare the curriculum of the college and keep these programs updated with current industry trends and development.
- To identify courses/ programs which may be offered in the college.
- To facilitate the application, renewal and/or upgrade of accreditation of academic programs under the college in coordination with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance group
- To establish program advisory board and partnerships and/or linkages with industry to support academic programs
- To work with faculty and academic affairs group to implement teacher development program
- To ensure that teachers are equipped with necessary teaching tools and techniques and updated with latest trends and development of the industry and/or subject matter they teach.
- To prepare, recommend, and coordinate teaching assignments and use of facilities.
- To prepare the annual budget of the college for which he/she is accountable.
- To recommend candidates for graduation of the college.
- To liaise with regulating government agencies to secure program requirements and permits
- To prepare academic reports required by Horizon Education operations and/ or PHINMA Education Philippines academics group.
- May be a member of the rank and tenure committee, and other academic committees that may be appointed.
Job requirements
- Master Degree from Business Management, Accounting or any business related program
- at least 3 years of teaching experience
- at least 5 years industry experience holding a senior management position
