About International Transfer

In the International Transfer team at Flip.id, you will be part of a dedicated group responsible for building and scaling our cross-border transfer products - Flip Globe. While it may look similar to domestic money transfers, international transfers are a completely different business—requiring us to navigate diverse regulatory landscapes, integrate with partners across multiple countries, and handle complex technical requirements to ensure secure, fast, and reliable services.

Our mission is to make sending money across borders as simple and trustworthy as sending it domestically. The team is currently undergoing a major transition to a service-oriented architecture, enabling faster development, greater scalability, easier maintainability in delivering new features.

What you’ll do

• Work with senior engineers to build and maintain backend services used across Flip’s ecosystem.
• Write clear, tested, and efficient code, mainly in Go.
• Review and learn from code written by peers and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver reliable features.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues under guidance.

What you’ll need

• Basic programming experience in any backend language (Go experience is a strong plus).
• Understanding of core computer science concepts: data structures, algorithms, OOP, and clean code principles.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
• Good problem-solving mindset and eagerness to grow.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team.
