Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead and oversee high-end residential and commercial projects from concept to completion. This role suits someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced studio, combines technical expertise with design sensitivity and enjoys mentoring younger team members.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full design process: concept development, schematic design, detailed drawings, and construction documentation.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, budget, and deadlines are met.

• Translate client briefs into innovative, context-appropriate designs.

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, presentations, specifications, and material boards.

• Collaborate closely with interior designers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain design integrity.

• Oversee permit applications, tender processes, and coordination with authorities where needed.

• Mentor and supervise junior CAD staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

• Stay informed about sustainable design practices, materials, and construction technologies.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

• Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership across residential, or commercial projects.

• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, and detailing.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp ; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and rendering tools (Enscape, Lumion) is a plus.

• Strong communication, presentation, and team-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

• Knowledge of tropical design, sustainability, and local materials is highly desirable.
