Job description
- Implement and maintain the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and environmental management systems in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and applicable Indonesian regulations (including SMK3).
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments (HIRARC/JSA) across the data center facility and construction or expansion areas, and follow up on corrective actions until closed.
- Manage the permit-to-work system for high-risk activities such as working at height, hot works, confined space, electrical isolation, and lifting operations.
- Supervise contractor and vendor safety performance, including pre-qualification, safety induction, toolbox talks, and compliance with site safety requirements.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, determine root causes, and report findings and preventive actions to management.
- Plan and run HSE training, emergency response drills (fire, evacuation, power or cooling failure), and safety awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
- Prepare HSE performance reports and KPIs (TRIR, LTI, near-miss rate), and support external audits, certification surveillance, and government inspections.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of HSE experience, preferably in data center operations or construction projects, including mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SMK3, and Indonesian OHS regulations, with hands-on experience in audits and risk assessments.
- Valid HSE certifications, such as Ahli K3 Umum (Kemnaker RI), or international equivalents such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
- Practical experience managing permit-to-work systems and contractor safety, especially for electrical, mechanical, and work-at-height activities.
- Good communication and reporting skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams and vendors.
