Job description
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Design and implementation of database and data structures
- Write endpoints for API and ensure data validation
- Optimize platform and API for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with serverside logic
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features 1
- Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
- Write functional requirement documents and guides
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- You have at least 3 years of previous experience as a Back-End Engineer
- Good analytical skill
- Proven work experience in software development especially in Java
- Working knowledge of NoSQL & SQL databases
- The ability to handle tight deadlines without compromising on quality
- Fundamental Linux knowledge and experience
